more bugs

The second in what  I decided would be a  series of bugs. I always have loved painting them and was very well known for them in the illustration world. HMMM I wonder what that says about me.   I also wanted to add a quote as it had special meaning for me today. I had something  happen this week that was a disappointment and as I was thinking and feeling icky about it , I looked over my desk and my eyes fell on this quote. . " everything happens for a reason it is just a matter of moving your point of view around until you see it".  So now I  have let the whole thing go and  I feel so much  better . If only we did not have to question  God's  universe so much as it sends things our way. Life would flow so much easier at least for me! I think this is my journey to keep trying everyday to accept what  comes , release, let go of control and just flow along on the currant of life. Doesn't that sound blessedly easy!! P.S. Thanks for all the kind words about " Good Queen Beth" . I will try to get more like her on my Etsy when I get back from Artistic Affair this weekend. My cousin Beth says I need to do more painting.

so, you just posted this little "lady bug lady" and she is pretty cute.
One day at a time, Julie. You will get through anything!
I love the quote...may have to write it out and post it, myself! xoxo

Love the "Lady Bug"! I just love the whimsical faces you paint!
Isn't it difficult to just go with the flow? Because we always think we must be in control. But there is so much in life we have no control over.

I Love your bugs!!! Glad to hear you have moved beyond the disappointment. Letting go of control is hard to do, but life is so much easier once we do so. I'm so proud of you.

She is so sweet but your quote is sweeter. Good words to live by for many of us who are struggling now. Thanks for reminding us and for being an inspiration to us all!
hugs Julie!

P.S. do add to your Etsy shop.

Your sweet lady bug is adorable, and a reminder to relax, have a cup of tea, and take a deep breath during the course of a busy day. (Said by she who is a "control freak"!). LOL Hugs, Terri

Your bug is adorable, but I still am not a fan of bugs. I've found a couple of geckos in our house...maybe that's why our bug population is down, they LOVE bugs!!! LOL Anyway, your bug is too cute...can't wait to see more.

Hi Julie!!!!
Did I tell ya lately how much I miss you??? Well, I do! ;-)
Anyway.....
I totally have a thing about bugs too! Especially bee's since I got stung this summer. I can't seem to get them off my mind. Love your new bee painting by the way!!!
I love, love, love your condo!!! Your art arrangements are just wonderful! You and I are similar this way. Must have our art around us.
Okay, must go now, but I look forward to seeing you soon. Lunch maybe??
xoxo!

Oh how I love your way of thinking because I tend to react like you in situations and if I would just "let go and go with the flow" life would be too easy!!! Maybe thats why we are like we are...Loved hearing from your sweet sis , I am having a hard time replying to her, computer stuff...tell her hello for me. I ADORE YOUR PAINTINGS! Yes you need to do more!!! Hugs and blessings from me to you!

I am so loving Miss ladybug, my dad called me ladybug as a child and then it grew to "bug juice"
You are so right about accepting the whirled(world)around us, the four agreements (book)has really helped me achieve peace and centeredness no matter how turbulant things may appear::: I will send you a copy my dear;)
