And the winner is ......

Cranial Purge!!  Thanks to  all who joined in the  fun and  visiting my site and reading  my ramblings !!!  Here also  are the pictures of my little garden ( always a work in progress) but the little tiny pond is up and working !!!You can hardy see it because I love to garden and  clutter the garden with plants and rocks  In a few years you will not even see the rocks as  "hopefully" they  will be covered with the mature crawling type plants a scattered aournd  the rocks. I have posted the last water feature I did in the graden of  our last house we moved from last aug 2009 . It was on  much bigger scale, but I loved it!!! The birds did  too and the dogs and the cats .In this  new one  I created a small little rock steeping stone for the birds  to land on as  they can  fall into the water  and drown , did you know that ?? Well  enjoy!! hugs Julie  ----and for those how did  not win the spoon  I hope you can make one !! And I will keep the kit up for a bit longer  and the post will asawys be in  my old post for review . Oh and I can  make one for anyone who wants to order one . But I am as slow as a rock.

Old Garden ,2008  I have to say I miss this garden the most about the old house .but hopefully the  little  new one will look like this on a small scale in a few years too and a lot   less work !!! I hope to plant lots  of bulbs  this fall.

I think the new garden is going to be great, and manageable. The old garden was pretty fantastic, but did not happen overnight, my friend.
You have such a green thumb...sigh......and the energy and desire to make your "place" so beautiful. I must learn from you - make an example of your efforts and use the inspiration to "beautify" my surroundings...

Love to you!

It is hard to leave a lovely garden, but it is amazing how quickly a new garden evolves. I have lived in my house for 3 1/2 years. My hedge was just little 6 inch plants then and now it has almost reached the height planned for it. I will be looking forward to progress. I like the idea of a secret garden!

Ohhh, Julie! Your new garden has great "bones"!!! In my mind's eye I can see it full grown. Love that little pond! I really didn't know that birds could drown. Hugs, Terri xoxo

Julie,
How lovely! It is soooo pretty! One of my favorite things ever, is a courtyard. I love those private walls that enclose a tiny garden. And you HAVE it! I keep thinking that someday my "Garden of Weedon" will look like your beautiful garden.

The (very expensive) Koi kept disappearing from our friend's pond. One day they looked out and saw a huge bird carrying off one of the last fish! How funny! They ended up putting electric wires close to the surface, which sadly took away from the beauty.
Let's hope yours are safe!

Julie your old garden is gorgeous but I have no doubt the new one will look just as pretty!
I have a story to tell about fish ponds- Lu Lu was taking care of our neighbors pond while they were on vacation- one morning she went to check on the fish and all she found were fish scales! I have never heard her so frantic- raccoons were the culprits!

Your garden is AMAZING!!!!! I am sure you will really enjoy it. Yes, I knew birds can drown in ponds. I always try to keep clean water in my birdbath for them & really enjoy watching them splashing about. You are so sweet to say you will send me the starfish mold. I LOVED THAT CLASS WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!! And I LOVED that project. THANK YOU for your kindness. I can't wait to be able to create again. It's been sooooooooooo long. HUGS my sweet generous friend.
