An evening at the Thompson's

Our little Scooty is addicted to TV. Favorites are of course "The dog whisper" any add with dogs and any show with animals. . Then  of course animation !! The Chipmunks movie was a huge success. . When the tv is off and we are just enjoying the quiet  he will run over to the blank  tv and jump up and whine. Well here is a photo documentation of a TV evening with Scooty. Is this normal or is he just a product of the new generation of dogs? Of course there  had to be the quik  break to sniff Peanuts butt and then Peanut had to get her 2 bits in !
15 minutes later

yet even later .....

and then later agian ( horses )

And even  later !!!His attention spand goes all night long!!

a break for some play time with best buddy Peanut !!

and love from Pappa for "Daddy's little boy"
Wheee can we go to bed I am exhasted !!!

My friend's Westies do the same thing - they LOVE TV!

Doesn't he love it! My cousin's big dog in Perth, Australia amazed me ...he could push the channel button and flick through the channels until he found cricket, then he'd sit down to watch.

omg, this is hilarious! So funny that Peanut is totally disinterested, and Scooty is obsessed. Or . . . possessed?? hahaha

yep .. two westies ... one is a tv watcher ... the tile floor and wood floors help intensify the "excitement" .. but oh the joy!!

Any time an animal appears on tv, it's got Tootsie's immediate attention. (She's a mini-Schnauzer & the love of my life!)CATS on tv drive her crazy - we can't even say the word. And when they disappear from the screen, she starts to 'cry' until we tell her "All gone TV dogs." (Every animal on tv is a 'tv dog' to Tootsie!) We've owned two schnauzers before Tootsie, and none of them have ever even noticed the tv!!! Go figure!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo

Awww that is so cute! I remember when I was a teenager our dog Basil would love to watch David Letterman's Stupid Dog Tricks. Basil would run around to the back of the tv trying to see where the dogs were :)

Thats so funny.... I always thought my dog was the only one. For Blue it all started with the olympics and Michael Phelps. Something to do with all that splashing got her attention.
She now watches TV , with any animal, any water, and even scary, music in movies.... this really scares the bejeezus out of us when she suuddenly goes barmy. as she barks so loud and jumps at the TV. (ours is really high.)
By the way I love reading all the dog comments in this section... too funny.
