This is a really great shot! It carries you in to a mysterious place! It's kinda like Alice's rabbit hole1 I love it!

I'm not sure if I'm looking straight ahead or straight down an elevator shaft. V-e-r-y unsettling, but an awesome capture! Hugs, Terri xoxo

Fabulous shot! The way I feel right now, I sure hope it's the light at the end of a very loooong tunnel.

It looks like a shaft of some sort with a golden treasure at the bottom. Hope you've had a good summer. I enjoyed your garden remake photos.

It is like walking into an unknown path. The wall on the right is a diffrent color almost a warm color. Maybe that is what I am seeing because it is kind of a FALL COLOR!!!! I can't believe it is finally on it's way!

Hi Julie! I haven't been by in a long, long time and only managed to get a little caught up on you today. The video was so powerful I went to the website and watched another longer version of it. Thank you so much for sharing that.

sigh . . . I know what you mean about questioning where you as an artist and how life impacts where you are. And, I understand about anxiety and depression. I've been working through some of it in art just the last few days. But, what I really want to say is that I think it is an inherent nature of an artist to go through these things and I think there is some connection between artists and emotional conditions and mental anquish - we, after all, live in a different world or want to live in a different world than is sometimes available to us. I am just now finding myself again for the first time in many many long months of "all over the place" and sometimes "utter desolation".

So in your picture, I see what I see depending on the day. It could be a bottomless pit of emptiness on some, or it could be the path to utopia just out of sight. I like Doreen's answer - it's always good to not take everything so seriously which I do all too often.

Work through your uncertainties - as hard as it is, it always leads to a stronger self and clearer interpretation of spirit in the end. Thinking about you!

Sweet Julie, First let me say THANK YOU for my starfish mold!!!! Your generosity amazed me! I did a post about us today. And the gift of the mold & your friendship. THANK YOU !!!!!!!!

Now for the tunnel... I think it's life. We don't know where it ends or what is in between the begining or the end. There is a light at the end... I just hope it's not a train!!!! Ha Ha just kidding. Have a great Labor Day Weekend. HUGS! Charlene

i'm torn between whether the camera is pointed down a vertical tunnel or toward a horizontal one. it shouldn't matter but my brain is stuck on the conundrum.
