Art in Soul Portland

I am all snugged into bed in my hotel suite in Portland  for  Art and Soul this week .   I teach  3 classes   and get to take a 3 day class with Nina  Bagly . My sister Lorrie   is coming  in  for the class  with Nina too (  Time with Lorrie  is always my best time!!) . I left behind a wonderful mess in my stuido as I  created up a storm  . How come ones  studio  has to end up  looking  like this ( see below )  to create this...
                                                                        .

I made this for the teapot art auction. The theme is Wonderland!!I had to add a  Stempunk twist .

OMG!!

Peanut  thought if she perched on my suit case she could go too.

The whole process of me packing and creating just exhausted Scooty!

I just aDORE this post!!!!
First of all, I border on being obsessed with Alice and the whole Wonderland thing.....your teapot is beyond MAGNIFICENT!!! Really and truly....

Your studio - I can totally relate! Mine has not been "tidy" for months (maybe since you were last in Santa Fe!) It has something to do with having to "hunt" for the right little bit to add to the project. It culdn't possibly be in a labeled box or drawer, all organized. It must include the Thrill of the Hunt!!!!

Miss you a LOT! Hope that you have a fantastic time in Portland (how's the weather?) If you get over to Powell's, say "hi" from me....

Great work. My partner is an artist, say no more about the mess, that must be why she is so creative? and where I am going wrong...................

Ohhhh friend I am laughing loud at the studio for I am getting ready for a licensing meeting and you and I can definitely compare in creative juices and messes flowing! Amazing how the messes create such beauty, hee hee! I hope you have all the blessings on your trip and a safe, bon voyage home dear one. Create, scatter joy, and give Nina a smile for me. Blessings.

Julie that Tea Pot is 2die4 darling!!!!! Oh to be in a Nina Bagley class... MY RIGHT ARM I would give. MAYBE next year we could do one together????? I have never been to Art & Soul but, my friends Diana Frey & Riki Schumbacher love Art & Soul. Do you go every year? WHY is all the good stuff on the west coast???? I just signed up for Kim's Event for March since I LOVED Les Sirenes so much. I'm serious... let's go to something like this together sometime. I WOULD LOVE IT & am always looking for new venue's & someone to go along. HUGS!
