Pneumonia!!!

Poor Scooter Last night his  cough got even worse. So off in the middle of the night both Cal and a raced to the emergency vet clinic. And it was pneumonia and bronchitis. Poor wee guy, Peanut has been so worried!! But with some new antibiotics, a few steam treatments ,some really strong cough syrup and He should be feeling better in 48 hours.  Maybe  then we can all rest .   Thanks again for all the supportive helpful emails .  But boy !!!!all those meds sure  give him gas!!!! PEWWWWW!!! My eyes are watering as I write he  is laying by my feet on his night night bed.

Poor little stinker!
:0)
I wish him a speedy recovery.

And I wish you and those you love a peaceful holiday season, after all these worries you've been having.

I hope he is well again soon. Pneumonia is pretty serious - when my cat had pneumonia, she almost died and she did retain respiratory problems for the rest of her life. So I hope the meds work fast and thoroughly for the little guy!

It's so hard when a little one is sick. Our cat Ralph just got over having tummy infection due to his diabetes...and there where a few really bad nights. I know how you feel...as a parent you feel so helpless. I hope your little fuzzy one feels better very soon.

Hugs,

Theresa

Poor little guy! Hope he is feeling better very soon. Maybe you could design a wonderfully fun gas mask while waiting for the meds to take effect:)

Hello Gassy and Julie,
I am so glad to hear that Scooter is getting so much love and help. To help with the stinky gas caused by the antibiotics it is helpful to have him also on probiotics! you can get them at: onlynaturalpet.com

Oh no! I hope he gets better very soon, poor little doggie! But, am so glad to read of the good news with your mom. I am way, way, way behind on blog visits and I'm sorry I wasn't here to offer well wishes and prayers at the right time, but am so delighted to hear of the miracle. I know what a stress it is when our parents are sick and I feel for you and Lorrie. Get rest when you can but enjoy this time of year too!
I wanted to especially stop by and leave some wishes for a very blissful Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I know 2009 was a rough one for you so you are due for a whopping good year coming up and I know it will be full of blessings!
