Sugar plum fairy

This weekend my sister Lorrie is here for our "play" weekend. I cannot  wait to reveal what  she has done. She is working on a grouping  of 3, a first in a  series. Hopefully the group will be done before she leaves on Tuesday morning and I can post the finished group all together. They are simply gorgeous   . Go to her blog at Lilylovekin for a teaser. But until then all you  get to see is  what I have done. They are altered fruits that I have made  into Christmas ornaments I gave  them names too "The Sugar Plum Fairy", "White queen cherries" ," Gold and Cranberries" and " Ice on Strawberries"

These are outrageous Julie, I am in love with your pieces! I am also falling in love with the piece your sister has on her blog, and requested a trade of sorts, but didn't realize till now it was part of a series. Anyway, you are both fantastic! This is so weird. I picked up an issue of Somerset Studio Paper and Mixed Media , May/June for the first time because I have been gathering things to try mixed media.....and there you are this morning...in the mag!! I'm off to read the article now and then to work!! Just fantastic ladies!

All we get? These are BEAUTIFUL and so sweet! I wish I could be a fly on the wall during your play weekends. Your sister's work is equally as wonderful. It is not fair to have so much talent in one family;) Love, Jamie

Absolutely darling. It was nice to meet you and your sister at Sand Castle Siren's vendor sale at Jane's.

In your blog you mention your dear sister Lorie, but when I went to the link of Lily Lovekin, I don't think it was your sister. Where do I find her blog?

The Lily Lovekin blog was wonderful also.
