lost links

I just changed over to a 3 column blog . Then I did not like the look of the 3 columns and changed back but I lost all my links in the process UGHH So sorry everyone I will work at getting them back up.

Art and Soul

Ok, Now I am really excited. Glenny the creator of Art and Soul has taken me in as an instructor and if you all do not know by now I love to teach!!! I will be doing 2 classes. feeling good!!

Back creating again and does it ever feel good . I am so happy to have the long hot summer behind me. I am back to my old self again and feel so happy . Today I worked on something a bit different for me . I got out the wood burning tool and prismacolors and then just played. This was the result...

PS-Poor little Peanut she has the " bunny runs" and has been taking pepto bismo today . Which the silly little girl thinks is a treat!!

A taste of food and wine!!

This post is for those living in the Phoniex area. Beth Quinn ( as many of your know this talented lady is my cousin!!! ) and I will be doing a fun new event this fall in Peoria Az. it is a fall wine food and arts festival . We both would love to see you there.

Good things come in small packages!!

We are sooo happy to be settled into the condo and to have scaled down . What a load off our plate !!! Today I thought I would share a few images of how I have managed to squeeze some of "our" favorite things into the space and I am so Happy that Cal likes it too and does not feel it is to crowded!! I am a lucky girl because it really is kind of crowded and he does not mind or is being very sweet about it as he knows I have to have my "things" around me . Later I will share my studio space which is turning out be a great working space too.

when it rains it pours!!

Wow the moving saga continues. I have been so busy getting ready for Artistic Affair in a 2 weeks and tucking all our things from Santa Fe into the little condo. We unloaded everything from the truck onto the covered patio . Boxes were piled 6 high . Hey, it is mid summer in the desert. I thought it surly will be safe until I can get to everything. Well was I wrong !!! We had a blowing raining thunder storm . Many of my box piles tipped over into giant pools of water and most were boxes of my beloved children's book collection and our cloths .I was out till 1 am dragging soggy items into the house and then spent the next day laying everything in the garage to dry .I now have a "rippled" children's book collection but most did dry out without stains or spine damage!! just rippled pages .
