Mom and Scooter

Last week Mom went to a dog rescue fair and came home with Scooter!!!  Then Thursday Mom  found out she has bladder cancer . She has surgery on monday  at that time we will find out if there is a tumor  in her kidneys or of it is a kidney stone . We have all decided not to go off the worry deep end till we know more on monday. So cross your fingers ! She is very uncomfortable and will be for a while as they will do chemo after the surgery .  We are told  the bladder cancer  has been caught very early and know that is a VERY good thing!!! But what ever the case  I  think Scooter has a  new home, OURS! . Peanut is being sooo sweet  too the little guy , but who could  resist all this cutness and it helps that the little guy is a  little "guy" and not a little " girl" I think!!??? I will keep you posted on the progress of" the saga of Scooter, Mom and the evil cancer".

Julie,

Perhaps when your mother is on the mend and stronger she could have Scooter with her. And what a positive thing to look forward to,
because that is one sweet sweetie

OMG, Julie! I think that Scooter's given me a puppy fix that'll last for a month! He's BEYOND adorable!!! Will keep everyone in all of my prayers. Will be sending up extras on Monday. Love, Blessings & BIG Hugs, Terri xoxo

PS - I summoned courage to submit a few things to Somerset a while ago and am keeping my fingers crossed! Toes too! :)

Julie,
A very good book is called: Healing Power of Pets by Marty Becker. He presents research on how pets truly help people to heal. Is it possible that your mom picked Scooter on a deeper level to help her heal?
All my Best and prayers for your mom and family.
Love,
Patti

OMG - what a face! How cute is he?! I'm glad he and Peanut are getting along.

I'm so sorry to read about your mom, but it is a good thing that it was caught early. My dear friend's husband was diagnosed with bladder cancer, went through treatments and got good news just yesterday that everything looks good. His was caught early too. I'll be keeping good thoughts for your mom, you and your family. Take care.xxx

I will say a prayer that you will have blessings to be thankful for this holiday. I am plagued with stones also so my heart goes out to mom.
Scooter is adorable and makes me want to venture into adoption...yet again.
God bless you for everything you do sweet friend.
