Banking blog B*&^H session
I guess I should consider myself "lucky" and that is exactly what the banks want me to think. I am trying to refinance my loan . The paper work is endless and the attitude of the bank!!! Yikessss . I think after last year when "We " the American people bailed them out We in general have a new attitude about them, well, at least I do . It used to be that I thought of the banking industries as the most conservative and also honest system with all their checks and balances. I now do not trust them one bit and because of the loan that "we " gave them I feel it is their duty to give me on one back. Yet they have his attitude that if they look hard enough they will find some flaw in my history .( Last week I got turned down for a credit card because my credit score was to low It was 734!!). It has been an unpleasant experience so far, but as I said with their "new" tighter rules system I am lucky to have gotten this far. I am sorry If I offend anyone that works for a bank. I know it it the CEO's that are the "greedy" ones. I doubt any bank CEO is going to read my blog .But hmmm maybe they will as part of the "checking" me out process?!?! TEEE HEEE

I so know what you are going through! We had a run on of our own not too long ago! This piece is so real! I love it!
You go, Julie!!! Frankly, my banking business is quite simple. I deposit into saving, some into checking and have a CD...that's it!! But I know what you mean about all that greed, and not just the banking CEO's, but the entire Corp. America group. Ok, don't get me started..will end it here!! LOL
xxoo,

Going through the loan process is exhausting! By the time you've finished, it's almost as though "they" know what color your panties are!!! Would that all evil bankers were as charming as yours. Hugs, Terri xoxo
We just had troubles too. Overwhelming. This art made me feel a bit vindicated. hee hee. No, I love everyone I have met at my bank, we are goofy actually. But, all these new strict rules to fix what millionaires or wanna be millionaires ruined is hurting the small, beautiful, honest littles like us. I will send you sprinkles of hope. Maybe by doing so, some will lay on our hands and I will see gratitude instead. Love to you dear one.
Sweet Julie thank you for the sweet condolences you left my way- truly warmed my sad heart.
Our bank just closed- I was so thankful to get our money out. Scary what is happening.
Love the art you did to portray the banker!
That crazy wicked banker!!!!!
So sorry that you are going through the bad banker experience, but do love the "Evil Banker" art!!
I have had my own bank issues this last week. AKKK!Move went great just settling in, thanks for your thoughts and prayers, Hugs, Mica

Hi Julie! :)
Have you ever thought of a credit union? I used to work at one and it is totally different. It's all about taking care of your members and they are non-profit (gasp!) too! No huge fees and more personal service because they actually see you as a person, not a phone call. I worked at Arizona Federal. Can't say enough good things about them.
One really nifty thing they do on loans- if there is any profit that they do make, the split it between the members with loans and give them a credit at the end of the year!
Best of luck! :)

Oh my! Being at the mercy of the banks is one of my worst nightmares. I wish you exactly what you need and may the banking gods be extra good to you.
I see you on the 23rd...taking your class.
xxoo
It's amazing that someone with good credit can't get a loan...so my question is what is the credit score for then. I guess it just looks pretty... LOL. :0)
this whole thing sickens me to my core...bail outs, health care, climate change...it's all to control us. i'm not giving into any of it.
so there...thanks for the box to express just a tad bit.
blessing to you and i hope it all works to your advantage.

Hi Julie - I just found your blog...saw the article on your art work in Somerset Studio...love your stuff! I had a question - however did you get the rusting solution to work? I must be doing something wrong - I made this piece recently (http://loriannmacko.blogspot.com/2010/02/dance-with-yer-boots-on.html) but couldn't get the rusting stuff to work (Triangle Crafts Sophisticated Finishes is what I was using)....ended up painting over it to make it look like rust! It still came out good, but I'd like to figure out the rusting solution....thanks for any tips!
I am just tickled pink that I got to meet you in Vegas. It was by far my favorite class!! I do hope your bank comes through. A great piece from the experience. Isn't it amazing how artists can channel their feelings in very productive ways?
this is just too cute Julie. I am so behind on blog ready but i knew if I came to your blog it would put a smile on my face. I hope you had a nice nap! I spent the day pulling everything out of the SBR storage unit with 12 volunteers! and then reorganizing and putting it all back! all good though...
