A prayer

A woman whom is  very close  to me is in deep pain . She and her husband have gone through a very tough year . The husband  lost his business and his  emotional health . They then  lost all they had worked for   and have had to start over. They have both felt much  fear, pain and  insecurity . The insecurity of both  has lead the husband  to believe that   he has lost his love for her and  so a few days ago he left her.  Please if you believe in prayer would you take the time to say one for  both of  them and ask our  Spiritual  Creator to give her  the  courage to face the loss of him and find her way. Thank you so much my dear friends  and Merry Christmas .

Julie, I have walked down that same path. Today, I am happier than I ever was. It's hard to see at the time but if you can, try to find peace, it will come.

I wish your friend love and peace.

They are both in my prayers now.
What can I do for her? Anything that I can do, I will.

I will certainly keep them both in my prayers. This can be a very tough time of year for a lot of people on top of the already tough times they are dealing with.

Oh Julie, I'm feeling a bit fragile myself today and your post brought tears to my eyes. I love what Hollie had to say in the comments above though. It's so hard to remember while we're in the midst of pain, but she is right that happiness finds us again.

I love you & merry christmas.

You are a very dear friend.

I will keep your friend in my thoughts. It sounds like she has had an awful year. And for her husband to leave her must be so sad and upsetting for her.

Prayers are being offered as we "speak", Julie. May angels of comfort surround her and lift her spirits. Time to count my blessings too. Hugs, Terri xoxo

Life is full of love and joy, and at the same time to realize this we have to find the courage to continue on a path where we also encounter pain and sadness. I believe that we all have the gift of strength. Sometimes we just need our friends to see us through.
Prayers for comfort and trust.

How painful for them and for you too as her friend. Good wishes and prayers for them both and hopes that 2010 will be kinder.
