For the love of Dogs

My dear friend Renee over at  Renee Troy has organized a group to do a book for auction that will benefit  " A Place to Bark ". One of my favorite charities . It's a no kill shelter and it specializes in hard to adopt dogs found at overcrowded shelters.  Here is the page I did for the book .  The  theme was animals and hearts. It was fun to get back to my roots on this piece and do an illustration. Oh and take a break from the move and packing. The movers come in the morning.

Julie - I just love your work, & this one in particular (love the "Dog & Butterfly" - one of my favorite songs!). How wonderful that your work will benefit such a great cause.

Hope you're having a great week!

Julie - the piece is wonderful...really charming.
MOVING?! .....wow........
Please email me and let me know your information. I do not like the impossibility of sending you a little something in the mail now and then.....
And when I drive through your neck of the woods on the way to california, I would love to give you a quick "hello".
I miss you. Santa Fe misses you, though you may not miss it much.
I hope all is well and good and would really love to catch up with you - won't take long...promise!

What a great cause! Our dog was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky and transferred to two shelters in Wisconsin before we found him.

The dog and butterfly - so cute! I love that song, too.
:0)

I hope your move goes smoothly.

Hi! Julie
Your spirit pulls me to your blog every so often. Have a wonderful time at Art and Soul in Virginia.
My brother, Troy Howell, artist, illustrator, published author, lives near Fredericksburg with his wife on twenty acres...kind of like Walden's pond. Wish I were there and could take the class you are doing. Take care and let your spirit soar and be free from worries.
Hugs,
Teresa in California and in Cloth and Clay ning
