While all this is going on Cal and Q-tip wait patiently for me to come back home to Santa Fe . I am in Az at the time . Which is kind-of nice because I get a lot of creative stuff done....BUT Miss Cal terribly and oh maybe I miss that" big fat putty tat" too.....

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my blog and giving me those good tips on working with pastels. Luckily, my husband is an artist and so has quite the selection of stuff, which means a much quicker "shopping" trip than Dick Blick. :) I worked on the sample just because I thought it wouldn't turn out anyway...my next one will be on pastel or velour paper if Daniel's got some. And, no, you are not too pushy - I appreciate any feedback!! :) Silke
P.S. We lived in Albuquerque for 10 years and just moved to Georgia 3 years ago when Daniel started teaching at SCAD. We love the water, but miss the Southwest!
